What it does, concretely

Taking notes during a meeting while staying focused is difficult. tl;dv automatically records, transcribes, and summarizes your meetings as soon as they end, without any manual effort.

The tool joins your calls on Google Meet, Zoom, or Microsoft Teams, generates a structured summary, identifies action items, and can send that information directly to your CRM or project management tools. It supports over 30 languages and can translate transcripts.

tl;dv is aimed at sales teams, product managers, and customer-facing teams who want to quickly retrieve the key points of a call, track trends across multiple meetings, or automate their post-meeting tasks.

It is less suited to people who do not use established video conferencing platforms, or who are looking for a native mobile app: one does not yet exist.

Share a summary or a video clip directly with a decision-maker who did not attend the meeting, without sending the full recording.
Check that EU hosting is enabled in your account settings if data location is an important criterion for your organization.

Watch out

There is no native mobile app: recording on mobile relies on the automatic recording feature through video conferencing platforms.
The most advanced features, such as aggregated multi-meeting analysis or sales coaching, are reserved for paid plans.

How to install tl;dv

1. Go to tldv.io and create a free account, no credit card required. 2. Connect your Google or Microsoft calendar so tl;dv can detect your upcoming meetings. 3. Install the Chrome extension if you use Google Meet from a browser. 4. For Zoom or Microsoft Teams, authorize the integration from your tl;dv account settings. 5. Enable automatic recording so the tool joins your calls without manual action. 6. Check in the security settings that storage is configured in Europe if your organization requires it.
