Can ChatGPT, Claude and Perplexity read your site?

A score out of 100, the verdict for 17 AI bots, and the test nobody runs: does your CDN or firewall answer an AI bot the way it answers a browser? No sign-up to see the result.

Three requests to your site, nothing kept beyond the domain and the result.

How the score is computed

Sixty points for robots.txt, on the eight bots that decide whether you appear in answers (indexing and on-demand fetch from OpenAI, Anthropic, Perplexity, Mistral, DuckDuckGo, Meta). Training bots do not count: refusing them changes nothing about visibility. Twenty-five points if your site answers an AI bot the way it answers a browser, ten for a reachable sitemap, five for an llms.txt.

The checker reads robots.txt per RFC 9309 (most specific group, longest rule), then sends two requests to your home page, one as an ordinary browser, one with the OAI-SearchBot user agent. Sites refusing every data-centre address cannot be assessed on that layer.

To understand what these bots do and set up a full policy, read the AI visibility guide.
