Security reflects where data goes, requested permissions and incidents on record at the verification date. It is not a guarantee of zero risk: check the deployment mode and the connections you enable.

What it does, concretely

Managing multiple coding agents in parallel from a standard terminal quickly becomes unmanageable: scattered windows, lost context, and no clear view of each task's progress. Conductor centralises everything in a single dashboard to simultaneously control agents such as Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, or OpenCode.

In practice, each agent runs in an isolated cloud environment, a Firecracker microVM, with your repositories and dependencies pre-installed. Sandboxes spin up in seconds and can run for hours without tying up your local machine. You bring your own subscriptions and API keys: Conductor orchestrates the agents without replacing them.

Conductor is aimed at developers who juggle multiple coding tasks at once and want to save time without multiplying terminal windows. The multiplayer feature also lets a team share a workspace, see who is active, and prompt agents together in real time.

However, if you only use one agent at a time, or if you work primarily on Windows or Linux, Conductor does not yet offer a clear advantage: the desktop app is available on macOS, with iOS announced as coming soon.

What it offers

  • ·Centralised dashboard to control multiple coding agents in parallel from a single interface.
  • ·Isolated cloud sandboxes based on Firecracker microVMs, with repositories and dependencies pre-installed.
  • ·Compatibility with Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, and OpenCode agents via your own keys and subscriptions.
  • ·Multiplayer mode: share a workspace via link, see real-time presence, and prompt agents collaboratively.
  • ·macOS desktop app available, with iOS mobile access announced as coming soon.
  • ·API access to integrate Conductor into your own tools and workflows.
  • ·Built-in model picker to choose the AI model used by each agent.
