Security reflects where data goes, requested permissions and incidents on record at the verification date. It is not a guarantee of zero risk: check the deployment mode and the connections you enable.

What it does, concretely

Working on multiple development tasks in parallel with AI agents usually means juggling several terminals, branches and contexts, which leads to conflicts and confusion. Claude Squad centralises the management of these agents in a single terminal interface.

The tool relies on tmux to create isolated terminal sessions and on git worktrees so that each agent works on its own branch without interfering with the others. A text-based UI (TUI) lets you navigate between sessions, preview changes, review diffs and push branches to GitHub without leaving the application.

Claude Squad is aimed at developers comfortable with the terminal who want to run several coding agents (Claude Code, Codex, Gemini, Aider, OpenCode, Amp) simultaneously on the same project while keeping control over each instance.

It is not suited to users who prefer a graphical interface, nor to those who are new to git versioning tools or who do not have tmux and gh installed on their machine.

What it offers

  • ·Management of multiple AI agents (Claude Code, Codex, Gemini, Aider, etc.) in a single terminal window.
  • ·Full isolation of each session through git worktrees: each agent works on its own branch without conflicts.
  • ·Auto-accept mode (--autoyes) to let agents automatically validate prompts and work in the background.
  • ·Preview of changes and diff review before applying or pushing modifications.
  • ·Commit and push branch to GitHub directly from the interface using the 's' key.
  • ·Configurable profile system to switch quickly between different agents when creating a session.
  • ·Installation via Homebrew or curl script, with a binary accessible under the short name 'cs'.
