In practice, Gemini can draft or rewrite an email in Gmail, generate content in Docs, analyze data in Sheets, take notes and produce transcriptions in Meet, and help find or summarize files in Drive. The assistant takes into account the context of your workspace to offer relevant suggestions.

This tool is aimed at teams and professionals who already use Google Workspace daily and want to save time on writing, analysis and information management, without changing their work environment.

However, it is not suited to people who do not use the Google ecosystem, nor to those looking for an AI assistant independent of their office suite.

A free 14-day trial is available for all plans with no immediate commitment, allowing you to test AI features before subscribing.
For organizations with more than 300 users, you need to contact Google's sales team to access Enterprise plans.

Watch out

The most useful AI features (Docs, Sheets, Meet) are not available on the entry-level Business Starter plan, which may catch new subscribers off guard.
Shared storage is limited to 30 GB per account on Business Starter, which can quickly become restrictive for teams that share many files.
