What it does, concretely
Finding the right formula in a spreadsheet takes time, especially when the syntax is complex or unfamiliar. Formula Bot, now rebranded as Better Analyst, lets you describe in plain language what you want to calculate and generates the corresponding formula for Excel or Google Sheets.
In practice, the tool works from a web workspace: you ask a question or describe a need, and Better Analyst produces the formula, explains it, and displays the generated code (Python, SQL, R depending on context) so you can verify and reuse the result. You can also connect data sources, build dashboards, and automate recurring reports.
The tool is aimed at people who regularly work with data without being developers or analysts: freelancers, small business teams, and operations managers who want quick answers without learning SQL or Python.
However, data teams already equipped with dedicated business intelligence tools or mature data pipelines will likely find little reason to migrate to this solution.
