What it does, concretely
Freepik, now rebranded as Magnific, offers an all-in-one creative platform that addresses the need to produce visuals, videos and audio content without switching between multiple separate tools. Everything is accessible from a single web interface, backed by Freepik's established image library.
In practice, the platform brings together image, video and audio generators, along with editing, upscaling, background removal, relighting, lip sync and many other features. It integrates a wide range of third-party models including Flux 2 Pro, GPT Image, Sora 2, Google Veo 3.1, Kling, Runway, Seedream, Recraft, Ideogram and others. Plugins allow it to be used directly inside Photoshop, Figma, After Effects, Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Illustrator, InDesign and Microsoft Office.
The platform is aimed at creatives, graphic designers, video producers, marketing teams and design professionals who want to cover their entire visual production pipeline from one place. Real-time collaboration features, role and permission management, and shared project spaces also make it relevant for teams.
That said, it may be oversized for someone who only needs a single feature occasionally, or for very infrequent use without a paid subscription, as the free plan remains limited in generation volume.
