What it does, concretely

Vocal recordings almost always contain slightly off-pitch notes or unstable passages. Auto-Tune Pro 11 corrects these pitch issues in real time or during post-production, without needing to re-record the take.

The plugin integrates directly into your digital audio workstation (DAW) on Mac or Windows. It offers two modes: an automatic mode that detects and corrects pitch without any manual input, and a graphical mode that lets you edit each note individually on a precise timeline.

Our tips

Use automatic mode for quick, transparent correction on generally in-tune takes, and reserve graphical mode for passages that require note-by-note editing.
Enable low-latency processing during recording so the singer hears their corrected voice in headphones in real time, which can improve their performance.
Adjust the Retune Speed: a low value produces the pronounced vocal effect, while a high value delivers more natural and subtle correction.
Use AutoKey, included in the subscription, to automatically detect the key and scale of your track before applying correction, to avoid wrong notes caused by an incorrect scale setting.

Watch out

The plugin requires a compatible DAW: it does not work as a standalone application, which means you need an existing music production environment already set up.

How to install Auto-Tune Pro 11

1. Go to antarestech.com and create or log in to your Antares account. 2. Choose between a subscription or a one-time purchase, then complete your order. 3. Download the installer for your system (Mac or Windows) from your account dashboard. 4. Run the installer and follow the steps: the plugin installs locally on your machine, and no audio data is sent to a server. 5. Open your DAW and find Auto-Tune Pro 11 in your plugin list to insert it on a vocal track. 6. Activate your licence from within the plugin interface by logging in to your Antares account.
