What it does, concretely

During video calls or livestreams, background noise, cluttered surroundings or poor lighting can hurt perceived quality. NVIDIA Broadcast addresses these common issues without requiring expensive professional equipment.

The application uses artificial intelligence running directly on your computer's RTX GPU to process your microphone and webcam audio and video in real time. It then integrates as a virtual device into your usual applications: Zoom, Teams, OBS, Streamlabs, and others.

NVIDIA Broadcast is aimed at streamers, content creators and remote workers who already own a PC with a GeForce RTX or Quadro RTX graphics card and want to improve their audio and video output without additional investment.

However, the application will not work on a PC without a compatible RTX GPU, nor on Mac or Linux. It is also not suited to those looking for a solution entirely independent of NVIDIA hardware.

How to install NVIDIA Broadcast

1. Check that your PC runs Windows 10 64-bit and has a GeForce RTX 2060, Quadro RTX 3000, TITAN RTX or higher GPU, with at least 8 GB of RAM. 2. Make sure your NVIDIA drivers are up to date (minimum Studio R570 or Game Ready R570) via the NVIDIA app or the official website. 3. Download the NVIDIA Broadcast installer (version 2.2.1) from the official page nvidia.com/en-us/geforce/broadcasting/broadcast-app/. 4. Run the installer and follow the on-screen steps (an internet connection is required during installation). 5. Open NVIDIA Broadcast, select your microphone and webcam, then enable the desired effects. 6. In each video call or streaming application, choose 'NVIDIA Broadcast' as the audio and video input device.
