Auphonic
App : A product you use directly
Automatic audio post-production: levels, noise, normalization for podcasts.
The most discreet and reliable podcast mastering robot.
Security reflects where data goes, requested permissions and incidents on record at the verification date. It is not a guarantee of zero risk: check the deployment mode and the connections you enable.
What it does, concretely
Recording a podcast episode or a lecture in good conditions is not enough: the raw file often contains background noise, uneven levels between speakers, and volume inconsistencies that hurt the listening experience. Auphonic automates the entire audio post-production process to fix these issues without requiring any mixing knowledge from the user.
In practice, you upload an audio or video file to the web platform, choose an algorithm or preset, and Auphonic handles noise reduction, level balancing between voice and music, de-essing, de-plosive filtering, loudness normalization to standards such as -16 LUFS, and even automatic cutting of silences, coughs, and filler words. The result can be published directly to platforms like YouTube, Libsyn, or SoundCloud.
Auphonic is aimed at podcasters, video content creators, teachers recording lectures, and audio production teams processing files at scale. The tool is used by independent creators as well as broadcasting organizations.
However, it does not replace a full audio editing application: it is not designed to assemble tracks, add creative effects, or perform complex mixing. Users who need fine-grained control over every parameter may find its automation too rigid.
