What it does, concretely
Harpa AI is designed for people who spend most of their day in a browser and want to delegate repetitive tasks: summarising a page, drafting an email, monitoring a price, or extracting data from a website. The extension avoids switching between multiple tabs and tools by centralising these actions directly where you work.
In practice, Harpa AI is installed as a Chrome or Edge extension. It reads the content of the active page and lets you send instructions via a keyboard shortcut (Alt + A). It can navigate websites, click buttons, fill in forms, and trigger automations to services such as Zapier, Make.com, or n8n. It connects to major language models (ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, DeepSeek, Llama, Perplexity) either through your own API key, a browser session account, or the CloudGPT included in the paid plan.
The tool suits marketing, recruiting, SEO, copywriting, and development professionals who automate daily web tasks. It also appeals to individuals who want to track prices on Amazon or AliExpress, summarise YouTube videos, or learn a foreign language with in-context corrections.
On the other hand, Harpa AI is not suited to those looking for a zero-configuration tool: connecting an AI model requires at minimum creating an account with a provider or subscribing to the paid plan. The extension also does not work on every page (Google Sheets is not supported, and some sites like Discord may require adjustments).
