find-skills (Vercel)
Skill : A reusable method: instructions, procedures, sometimes scripts or templates · requires claude-code
Skill that searches and installs other skills from skills.sh on demand.
The most installed skill on skills.sh: practical, as long as you read what it installs.
Security reflects where data goes, requested permissions and incidents on record at the verification date. It is not a guarantee of zero risk: check the deployment mode and the connections you enable.
What it does, concretely
Finding and installing a suitable skill among hundreds of scattered repositories is tedious. find-skills solves this by letting the agent itself search for available skills on skills.sh and install them without the user having to leave their working environment.
In practice, the skill exposes the npx skills find [keyword] command to the agent for keyword or interactive search, then npx skills add <repo> to install the result. The agent can also list already-installed skills with npx skills list and update them with npx skills update.
This skill targets developers using Claude Code, Cursor, or Codex who want to extend their agent on the fly, without manually browsing the skills.sh directory. It is especially useful in workflows where a need is discovered mid-session.
It is not suited to those who prefer strict control over what their agent can do: every installed skill is a set of instructions the agent will follow, and find-skills gives the agent the ability to extend its own instructions autonomously.
