Security reflects where data goes, requested permissions and incidents on record at the verification date. It is not a guarantee of zero risk: check the deployment mode and the connections you enable.

What it does, concretely

Setting up Claude Code from scratch takes time: creating specialized agents, writing custom commands, configuring hooks, and connecting external services. Claude Code Templates centralizes over 1,000 ready-to-use components to avoid this repetitive work.

The tool is used via an npx command that opens either an interactive mode or a direct installation through options. A web interface at aitmpl.com lets you browse and select components before installing them. Components cover six categories: specialized AI agents, custom slash commands, external service integrations (MCPs), configuration settings, automation hooks, and reusable skills.

Claude Code Templates is aimed at developers who use Claude Code daily and want to save time on configuration. Experienced technical profiles will get the most out of the library, especially for connecting databases, cloud services, or testing tools.

However, users who are new to Claude Code or uncomfortable with the command line will find the onboarding less straightforward. The library is also not suitable for those who want to avoid any third-party code running locally, particularly regarding hooks.
