video-use (Browser Use)

Skill : A reusable method: instructions, procedures, sometimes scripts or templates · requires claude-code

Video editing by agent: drop your footage in a folder, describe the result, the agent cuts silences, colour grades, adds subtitles and delivers final.mp4.

Impressive for talking-head videos and tutorials without opening any editing software; requires ffmpeg and an ElevenLabs key for transcription.

Security reflects where data goes, requested permissions and incidents on record at the verification date. It is not a guarantee of zero risk: check the deployment mode and the connections you enable.

What it does, concretely

Editing a video usually means opening dedicated software, learning its shortcuts, and spending long minutes cutting silences, correcting colours and adding subtitles. video-use removes these steps by delegating the work to an agent that reads your footage and produces a final.mp4 without you ever touching a timeline.

In practice, you drop your raw files into a folder, describe the result you want in plain language, and the agent takes over. It transcribes the audio via ElevenLabs Scribe to get word-level timestamps, identifies silences and filler words, proposes an editing strategy, waits for your approval, then executes cuts, colour grading, audio fades and subtitle generation via ffmpeg. A self-evaluation loop checks every cut point before handing you the file.

The tool suits content creators who shoot talking-head videos, tutorials or interviews and want a clean result without mastering editing software. It also targets developers comfortable with the terminal who want to automate their post-production workflow.

It is not suited to those looking for a graphical interface, working on projects that require fine frame-by-frame control, or unwilling to send the audio from their footage to a third-party service for transcription.

What it offers

  • ·Automatic removal of filler words ('umm', 'uh', false starts) and dead space between takes.
  • ·Automatic colour grading of every segment via customisable ffmpeg chains (warm cinematic, neutral punch, or custom).
  • ·30ms audio fades at every cut to prevent audio pops.
  • ·Stylised subtitle generation and burn-in, configurable as 2-word uppercase chunks by default.
  • ·Parallel animation generation via HyperFrames, Remotion, Manim or PIL, each handled by a dedicated sub-agent.
  • ·Self-evaluation of the rendered output at every cut boundary before delivery, with up to 3 automatic correction attempts.
  • ·Persistent session memory in a project.md file to resume work across sessions.
  • ·Online source downloading via yt-dlp (optional).
