Capturing an object or location in three dimensions usually requires expensive equipment and specialized training. Scaniverse makes it possible to produce high-quality 3D scans directly from an iOS or Android smartphone, with no additional hardware.
The app captures overlapping views of the object or scene, then combines them with available sensor data to build a spatial asset. Processing happens on-device, meaning your data never leaves your phone. Results can take the form of photorealistic Gaussian splats or 3D meshes, exportable in standard formats such as SPZ or USDZ.
