KIRI Engine
App : A product you use directly
Photogrammetry and splats from your phone, with mesh export.
A solid alternative to Polycam.
Security reflects where data goes, requested permissions and incidents on record at the verification date. It is not a guarantee of zero risk: check the deployment mode and the connections you enable.
What it does, concretely
Creating a 3D model of a real object usually requires expensive equipment or complex software. KIRI Engine makes it possible with just a smartphone, in a matter of minutes, without any specific technical training.
The app relies on several technologies: photogrammetry (3D reconstruction from photos), LiDAR scanning for compatible iOS devices, a dedicated mode for shiny or transparent objects (NeRF-derived), and 3D Gaussian Splatting for photorealistic rendering. Models are processed server-side and can be exported as meshes.
KIRI Engine is aimed at 3D printing enthusiasts, artists and game asset creators, as well as researchers who need an accessible scanning tool. The interface is designed for quick onboarding, even without prior 3D modelling experience.
However, users who need full control over local data processing or who work on projects requiring strict confidentiality should keep in mind that processing takes place on KIRI Engine's servers.
What it offers
- ·Photogrammetry scan: create a detailed 3D model by photographing an object from multiple angles.
- ·LiDAR scan: access advanced scanning features, floor plans, and scene visualisation on LiDAR-equipped iOS devices.
- ·Featureless object scan: capture shiny, reflective, or transparent objects using a NeRF-derived method.
- ·3D Gaussian Splatting: generate photorealistic real-time renders and export them as physical meshes.
- ·Quad mesh and PBR materials export: get production-ready models for game engines or 3D software (paid).
- ·Auto-rigging: automatically generate an animation skeleton for your scans using AI (paid).
- ·Advanced camera control: adjust shutter speed, exposure value, and other settings to improve scan quality.
- ·Built-in decimation: reduce the polygon count of high-resolution models directly within the app (paid).
