Bambu Studio (détection IA)
App : A product you use directly
Bambu Lab slicer with camera and AI-based print failure detection.
The companion app for Bambu printers; the AI lives in the camera.
Security reflects where data goes, requested permissions and incidents on record at the verification date. It is not a guarantee of zero risk: check the deployment mode and the connections you enable.
What it does, concretely
Preparing a 3D file for printing requires many technical settings: part orientation, supports, speed, temperature. Bambu Studio brings all these steps together in a graphical interface designed to simplify the journey from digital model to printed object.
The software slices the model into layers, generates the GCode sent to the printer, and allows remote monitoring of the print via the built-in camera on Bambu Lab machines. An AI-based detection system analyses the video feed to identify print failures during fabrication.
Bambu Studio is aimed at Bambu Lab printer users, from beginners who want to start a print in a few clicks to advanced profiles who wish to fine-tune parameters layer by layer, manage multiple plates, or print with multiple materials using dedicated painting tools.
Users who do not own a Bambu Lab printer will find little use for this software: remote monitoring and AI detection are tied to the brand's hardware ecosystem. The networking plugin required for remote control relies on non-free libraries.
What it offers
- ·Layer-by-layer slicing with GCode viewer directly in the interface.
- ·Automatic print failure detection through video analysis via the camera and embedded AI.
- ·Remote control and monitoring of the printer from within the software.
- ·Multiple print plate management within a single project.
- ·Auto-orientation and auto-arrangement of objects on the plate.
- ·Multi-material printing with painting tools at object or part level.
- ·Three support types available: normal, hybrid, and tree, with custom support options.
- ·STEP format import in addition to common 3D formats, with assembly and explosion views.
