Security reflects where data goes, requested permissions and incidents on record at the verification date. It is not a guarantee of zero risk: check the deployment mode and the connections you enable.

What it does, concretely

Producing regular videos for social media requires time, equipment, and a constant presence in front of the camera. Argil solves this problem by letting each creator clone themselves once, then generate as many videos as needed by simply typing a script.

In practice, you record a two-minute video in a natural setting, along with a short consent video to verify your identity. Argil analyses your appearance, voice, and gestures, then trains a model specific to you. Once the clone is ready, you write or import a script, choose an environment, and the tool generates the video with lip sync, body language, automatic captions, and B-roll.

Argil is aimed at content creators, marketing teams, and educators who need to publish videos at a high frequency on TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, or LinkedIn, without spending hours filming and editing. The platform also offers over 100 ready-to-use avatars for those who do not wish to use their own likeness.

On the other hand, Argil is not suited to people starting out on a tight budget: without a paid subscription, access to a personal clone is not possible. Users looking for a traditional video editing tool or who need long, cinematic videos will find the platform too specialised.

What it offers

  • ·Library of over 100 ready-to-use avatars to produce videos without using your own likeness.
  • ·Voice cloning or transformation, with optional connection to ElevenLabs to use your existing voices (paid).

  • ·AI Influencer builder to create virtual characters that can interact with products (paid, Pro plan).
  • ·API and Make integration to automate high-volume video production and connect Argil to other tools (paid).

How to install Argil

1. Go to argil.ai and create an account with your email address or Google account. 2. Use the 5-day free trial to explore the interface, then choose a paid plan (Classic at $39/month or Pro at $149/month) to access personal cloning. 3. Record a training video of around 2 minutes in a well-lit environment, then a short consent video to verify your identity: both are required. 4. Wait a few hours for the model to train your clone (sometimes under an hour during off-peak times). 5. Write or import your script in the editor, select your clone, an environment, and editing options, then start generation. 6. Security note: your image and voice are stored server-side; review Argil's privacy policy and check the data deletion terms before getting started.
