AdamCAD
App : A product you use directly
Parametric CAD by conversation, oriented towards 3D printing.
Young and promising for makers.
Security reflects where data goes, requested permissions and incidents on record at the verification date. It is not a guarantee of zero risk: check the deployment mode and the connections you enable.
What it does, concretely
Hardware teams lose significant time switching between CAO software, BOM spreadsheets, supplier emails, and project management tools. AdamCAD centralises these tasks in a single conversation-driven workspace.
In practice, you connect your existing tools (Onshape, Fusion, SolidWorks, Arena, Gmail, Slack, Jira, etc.) and describe your need in plain language. Adam reads geometry, BOMs, and revisions in real time, prepares the work (model edits, BOM cleanup, quote requests, drawing updates), then submits the result for your approval before any definitive action.
The tool is aimed at mechanical engineers and industrial designers working in teams on physical products: design review preparation, supplier management, build blocker tracking, visual rendering, and factory handoff.
It is less suited to individual makers looking for a general-purpose 3D modelling tool, or to teams without a professional CAD tool already in place, since its value depends on connecting to an existing ecosystem of tools.
What it offers
- ·CAD model editing via plain-language instructions, with a preview of changes before approval.
- ·BOM synchronisation and cleanup with detection of revision mismatches and duplicate part numbers.
- ·Supplier search and comparison, plus automatic drafting of quote request emails.
- ·Technical drawing updates with dimensions, tolerances, and datum callouts to your specifications.
- ·Photoreal render and exploded view generation from connected geometry.
- ·Factory handoff package preparation (drawings, BOM, QA checklist, open questions).
- ·Integration with over 3,000 tools via authenticated connections, without copying your files to a third-party server. (paid)
